Light Offering, prayer and chanting bring hope and new life to my aunt

My aunt is 77 years old. Earlier this year, she was diagnosed with late stage bone cancer. Her chest already had broken bones. She was very frail and all numbers were super low. Only creatinine (waste product made by muscle as part of everyday activity) was high. Her kidney was failing. Doctor suggested low dose chemotherapy for the first time. It might extend her life for 1 year. This news caused a lot of stress and pressure on her family. My cousin discussed with me about what to do. I suggested light offering at the center, repent and practice chanting. Those are the only things we could do. I told my cousin to learn chanting himself since he is the direct descendant. With utmost sincerity, it would work. I pray with Dharma Brothers and Sisters at Care and Service Group and did light offering at the center near me. We also transferred the merit to her. He listened and accepted the idea.
The following day, chemotherapy began. Amazingly, after completion of chemotherapy, she stayed at the hospital for observation for 3 days and all numbers came back normal. Her energy was marvelous. Doctor recommended for her discharge. Such great news! My brother was thrilled and decided to continue to practice with me.
What a miracle! No one could change and improve so drastically after chemotherapy. Grateful to All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and Grandmaster!
